A book review requires a critical analysis on the significant aspects of the book rather than retelling. It focuses mainly on the book’s authority, content, and purpose. A proper book review contains neither summary nor report. It is a direct response on the key strengths and weaknesses of any piece writing. It includes statements of what the author has done or tried, includes an opinion of the reviewer on how the author has brought out the theme of his work by presenting strong arguments to substantiate such evaluation.
