Pedagogies Relating to Technology-Based Learning
The current world is characterized by technological advancements which have either positively or negatively influenced different sectors of the economy. In the past, technology was mainly used in business to increase the efficiency of operations, and to make work easier, however, this has changed and it is being used in non-commercial sectors of the economy. Technology has significantly transformed the global health sector, which is a non-commercial sector, and it is also transforming education in different parts of the world (Gilakjani, 2013).├┐In the recent past, technology has been trickling in Australian education and has significantly transformed learning in many institutions today (Orlando, 2014). The core purpose of this task is to examine pedagogies relating to technology-based learning in Australian secondary classrooms education, identify essential set of findings, and their implications for both practice and policy and give a mapping of Australian professional standards of teachers. The last part of this paper will have a visual representation that maps the relationships between dimensions, highlighting relevant Australian professional standards for teachers.
